Privacy Policy

574269.xyz (“574269”, “we”) is a launch platform where new products launch with real deals and early adopters claim them. 574269 is the data controller for the information described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. Questions: privacy@574269.xyz.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with GitHub or Google, the name and profile picture those services share with us. We receive your email address, name and profile picture only — never your password or access to your GitHub or Google data.
• Sign-in sessions: a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
• Product listings (makers): everything you submit — product details, images, deal terms, your Unlock Code, launch day and story — plus a checkout screenshot proving the deal works, which only our reviewers see. Approved listings are public.
• Reviews: your rating, review text, tags and screenshots. Reviews are public and show your first name only.
• Activity that keeps deals honest: when you unlock a deal or open a product through its Unlock Code, whether you tell us the code worked, “helpful” votes and reports. We record these against a one-way hash of your IP address (we do not store the IP itself) or, if you are signed in, your account, so each person counts once.
• Saved deals you choose to keep in your account, and the deals you unlocked while signed in, listed for you under My deals.
• Deal alerts if you turn them on: your email address, the categories you picked, when you confirmed, and which reminders we already sent, so you never get the same one twice.
• Waitlist details if you pre-registered: your email address, role and, for makers, the product details you gave us.
• Security data: the hashed IP address above and the result of Cloudflare Turnstile's human check, to stop spam and abuse.
• Email delivery records: which emails we sent you and whether delivery succeeded.

Why we use it (and our legal basis)

• To run your account, publish your listing or review, and send the emails that come with them (submission received, review results, a listing paused) — to provide the service you asked for.
• To show trust signals such as how many people unlocked a deal and how many said the code worked, and to handle reports — based on our legitimate interest in keeping deals honest.
• To email waitlist members about 574269's launch — based on your consent.
• To send deal alerts (tomorrow's launches, and reminders before a saved deal starts or steps down) — based on your consent. Every alert email has a one-click link to stop it, and you can change them any time under My deals.
• To keep the site free of spam and abuse — based on our legitimate interest in running a safe service.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share your personal data with the products listed on 574269. When you click “Unlock”, the maker's site only learns that you came from 574269 and which code you used.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, we use only your email address, name and profile picture, and only to create and identify your 574269 account. 574269's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use this information for advertising and do not sell or transfer it to anyone else.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only strictly necessary cookies: the sign-in session cookie and the cookies Cloudflare Turnstile needs for its security check. The site also remembers a few things in your own browser (for example, that you already answered “did the code work?” or saved a deal); this stays on your device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.

How long we keep it

• Your account, listings and reviews: until you ask us to delete them, or until we close an account for breaking our terms.
• Unconfirmed waitlist entries: deleted automatically after 30 days. Confirmed entries: until 574269 no longer needs them, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Unlock, feedback, vote and report records: kept as long as the listing exists, so its figures stay correct.
• Deal alert settings: until you ask us to delete them. Switching alerts off stops the emails straight away.
• When we delete an account or entry, we also delete the email delivery records and images tied to it.

Your rights and choices

Email privacy@574269.xyz to access, correct, export or delete your data, close your account, or withdraw consent. We reply within 30 days. You can edit your reviews and listings yourself while they are open for editing. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

574269 is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
